LED MATRIX driven by PC

This project consists of 2 LED MATRIX 8*8 soldered beside each other and controlled by a PC software named "Led Matrix Control" through a microcontroller "PIC16F628".
The serial communication RS232 is level converted by an integrated circuit MAX232.
The power is controlled by a traditional regulated power supply.

Technical experience,
Electronics experience: Firmware programming of PIC16FXX,PIC18FXX,AVR(Atmega8L,Atmega16L,etc…) families of microcontrollers with "C","Pascal","Basic" languages and assembly with mikroC, mikroPascal, mikroBasic ,MPLAB and PicBasic Pro compilers with their "in circuit debugger".
Working with GLCD (Nokia 3310, 3510i, 6100) using their already compiled libraries, standard LCD(HD44780), Keypad, relays, sensors(LM35 temperature sensor, ultrasonic sensor, LDR, Potentiometer, Phototransistor, Photodiode, IR sensor), A/D modules, Serial EEPROM, Led matrix, SPI & I2C devices, MMC, SD cards in projects.
Digital circuits design using TTL (74XX) and CMOS (45XX, 40XX) in addition to the MCU at the heart.
Design electronic cad drawing with CadSoft Eagle software.
Programming with C Sharp and ability to drive RS232, Parallel ports with c# and associate with them a hardware system.
Devices with working experience: PIC16F84 (A) PIC16F628, PIC16F676, 630,877,877(A), 876(A) and PIC18F452 (252), Atmega8L, 24LCXX.
Use Bootloader concept to easily upload hex file to PIC18F452.
Use of Proteus simulator to simulate PIC microcontrollers and digital circuits.
General knowledge and ability to learn 8051 series of microcontroller.
